Who we are
EasyGiG Technologies ("EasyGiG", "we", "us") operates easygigtech.com. We are based in Accra, Ghana. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it.
Our other services, including easygiggh.com and ezzvote.com, may publish their own privacy notices. Where they do, those notices apply to your use of those services.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to run the site securely.
- Contact and quote requests: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, organisation and the details of your message.
- Launch notifications (waitlists): your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and optionally your phone number and organisation.
- Technical information: your IP address, recorded with each form submission so we can block spam and abuse, and a session cookie that keeps forms secure.
We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or sensitive personal information on this website.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and prepare quotes.
- To email you when a service you signed up for becomes available.
- To protect the website and our users from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
We process your information with your consent (when you submit a form) and for our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to the people who contact us, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.
Sharing your information
We do not share your information with third parties except:
- service providers that host this website and deliver our email, who process it only on our instructions;
- where the law requires us to, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and quote requests for as long as needed to respond and to manage any work that follows, and waitlist details until the service launches or you ask to be removed. We then delete or anonymise them.
Keeping it secure
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted administrator access and protections against automated abuse. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information or remove you from a waitlist;
- stop using your information for a particular purpose.
Email us at info@easygigtech.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
