Samsung Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo update is beginning to roll out to users living in the US. Though the update isn’t widespread yet, several Galaxy S8 users have reported that they’ve gotten notification of the update on their several devices. Some of these users have different carriers like Verizon, AT&T, as well as Sprint.
Some redditor(s) at Reddit’s r/GalaxyNote8 community have also reported receiving the update on those three carriers. Since the update isn’t general yet, I think it’ll be safe to say that phone carriers tend to roll out major software updates like this very slowly at first, to make sure that they can catch any problems early.
There aren’t no reports from T-mobile users in regards to the galaxy s8 oreo update, but it’s alright to assume that the Oreo update should arrive “in just a few days/weeks.” According to what a mod. on Samsung’s forums said “the company is working with carriers to get Oreo out to all phones “within the next 2-3 weeks.” So if you have a Note 8, the update should arrive soon”.
